URBAN COURSES / Field Study Trip Lisbon
URBAN TECHNIQUE and POWER PLANT CITY; 1st and 2nd semester students
Each year the urban courses conduct a study trip to the respective city of investigation, in collaboration with local institutions. In line with the course topic, Urban Technique and Power Plant City students will visit the city of Lisbon / Portugal, with a focus on instability as thriving moment for future development.
The field trip is intended to introduce students to the most recent urban, economic situation of countries on the fringe of Europe, in preparation to the design studio in the second and final semester of the courses. The trip comprises guided tours and individual explorations, to the university as well as to key buildings.
