Urban Strategies Featuring D[a]L Summer Workshop
Hunan University: July 14th to 26th 2012
Xinyu Wan Alumni of the Urban Strategies Branch Excessive is currently assisting at the 2012 D[a]L Digital Fabrication Summer Workshop, conducted by the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Hunan University, Changsh Hunan, China. Investigating the translation from "Computation to Fabrication", this years workshop is lead by Studio Director Prof. BiaoHu, Co-directed by Yu Du, and tutored by Johannes Elias and Xinyu Wan.
Xinyu Wan received his MSc Urban Strategies in November 2010 and holds a bachelor degree with distinction from the Nanchang University in China. He is continuing his academic carrier with doctoral studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, and works at Coop Himmelb(l)au in Vienna.
